New smells

I'm pretty sensitive to smell, so I can usually guess what's been done at our house every day while we were at work.  The first new smell in quite a while was paint, which means the addition doesn't look so rough and unfinished.

It's also air-conditioned now, mainly to get the hardwood flooring planks acclimated to the temperature of the house.  I'm not sure how to show that in pictures...except maybe grossly showing you the sweat on the workers before AC and after AC....no?  Alright.

Days 41, 42, and 43: painting

Day 44: Our Clemson orange shower begins to take shape (Go Tigers!):

Yeahright.  That's just part of the groundwork for laying tile this week.  I have to be honest, though - I was a little afraid to see that little light bulb go "ding!" over Russell's head at the thought of having an orange bathroom...

Also on Day 44, our in-laws brought our new washer and dryer here so that the cabinet guy knows exact measurements for the countertop that will be built over them.
